How Kavya’s resume is built
Layout and order
Kavya Reddy is a fictional sample written for India, so the page is A4 and carries her date of birth, which many Indian employers still expect. Counter centres the name and contact line and keeps skills on a single line each, which leaves the middle of the page for the job that matters: her current role at a BPO. Education is a single B.Com line, and languages sit at the foot because she uses three of them on calls.
How the bullets are built
Support work is measured, so the bullets quote the measures. "Handle 70 to 90 voice and chat contacts a shift" sets the pace, and CSAT 94% over the last year shows the quality held at that pace. The second bullet compares her first-contact resolution of 81% with the team target of 75%, which is more convincing than either number alone. The third shows she is trusted with new joiners, 6 a quarter. Her older job has one line, and it earns its place by naming the three languages she resolved billing queries in.
Customer service associate resume questions
Should I put my CSAT and AHT on my resume?
Put any score you can state honestly and that compares well, with the period it covers, as the sample does with CSAT over the last year. If a figure only looks good next to a target, give the target too.
How do I show languages for a support role?
List each language with a plain level such as Native or Fluent, and mention them in a bullet where you used them with customers. Recruiters for multilingual queues look for both.
Is a date of birth needed on an Indian customer service resume?
It is common but not required. The India format in the editor shows the field; leave it empty and it does not appear on the page.
