How Liam’s resume is built

Layout and order

Liam Walsh is a fictional sample written for Australia, on A4, with a Referees line at the end as Australian employers expect. Crew sets the name in centred capitals and puts each role on one line, so two cafe jobs and a school line fit well within the page. RSA and food handling certificates have their own section near the bottom, dated, because a manager checks them before a first shift. The summary ends with weekend availability, which matters as much as skill in a cafe.

How the bullets are built

The first bullet gives the pace: 350 to 400 coffees on a Saturday morning on a two-group machine. Any cafe owner can picture that rush. The second shows craft and trust together, dialling in single origins daily and training 3 junior baristas. The third covers the jobs that show responsibility, opening checks and the weekly milk and bean order. His server role keeps one line with the size of his section, 40 seats on weekends, and adds the till and bookings.

Barista and server resume questions

Should I put my RSA on a barista resume?

Yes, with the issuing state and date. Many cafes also serve alcohol, and a current RSA means you can work any shift.

Is latte art worth listing?

List it once in skills. A number about volume or a line about dialling in coffee says more about your level than the skill name.

What if my only experience is school and part-time work?

That is normal for this role. Keep it to one page, list certificates and availability, and give one concrete line about each job.
