Using Bench
Why a timeline
Lab roles care about continuity: which methods you ran, for how long, and in which regulated setting. A date column makes that history plain at a glance.
How to fill it
Name techniques and instruments in bullets (HPLC, PCR, flow cytometry), regulated standards (GLP, GMP, ISO 17025), and throughput or accuracy results. Put a few key papers in Publications.
When to pick another
For a full academic CV with many papers, Scholar or Clinic. For software QA engineers, Signal or Kernel fit better.
Words to use
The layout is half of it. For the terms recruiters search for, see the keyword lists for data analyst, software engineer and project manager resumes.
About Bench
Should I list lab techniques?
Yes, in Skills and inside bullets with the context and result.
Where do publications go?
In a Publications section, three to five relevant ones. For many papers, use Scholar.
Do left-column dates parse?
Yes. The role is written first in the text and the date is drawn on the left. Our tests check the order.
