Using Lecture

Why the profile leads

School leaders read the first lines to decide whether the rest fits their department. A short lead paragraph that names your subject, key stages and one result does that better than a Summary label.

How to fill it

Name subjects, age ranges and exam boards. Give one result per role (pass rates, attendance, a club you started). Add QTS, PGCE or state certification in Certifications with dates, and safeguarding checks if relevant.

When to pick another

For a university post with publications, Scholar fits better. For corporate training roles, Cadence or Ledger read more business-like.

Words to use

The layout is half of it. For the terms recruiters search for, see the keyword lists for project manager, content writer and business analyst resumes.

About Lecture

What goes on a teacher's resume?

Subject and phase, schools and roles, results such as grade improvements, responsibilities like coordinator posts, and qualifications such as QTS or a teaching licence.

Should I include a personal statement?

Many school applications ask for a separate statement. Keep the resume profile to two or three lines.

Is it one page or two?

Two pages is normal for experienced teachers. The template is tested at both.
