Using Transit
Why side labels
Operations readers jump between sections: scale of sites, systems used, certifications. A label column makes each one easy to find, the way a good report is laid out.
How to fill it
Open each role with its scope (sites, headcount, volume), then two or three results with numbers. Put Lean, Six Sigma, PMP or NEBOSH in Certifications. Keep systems such as SAP or WMS in Skills.
When to pick another
If you have a long skills list, Column puts it in a sidebar. For a one-page limit, Compact fits more roles.
Words to use
The layout is half of it. For the terms recruiters search for, see the keyword lists for operations manager, project manager and business analyst resumes.
About Transit
What should an operations resume show?
Scale (sites, staff, volume), cost and safety results, systems used, and improvement methods with outcomes.
Are side labels a two-column layout?
No. Each section is one row with its label beside it, so the page still reads top to bottom.
Does Transit work for project managers?
Yes. Put delivery figures (budget, schedule, team) in the first bullet of each role.
